The Greater Muskegon Service League was established in 1930 with 14 charter members. These women organized to serve the community by devoting time to worthwhile projects as well as by giving financial aid to organizations that were involved in community service. The founders hoped that the Service League might become a valuable organization to be continued by daughters, families, and friends.

Through the years, Service League has grown to over 300 members. Many members
of our organization have given innumerable hours and great service through the years to establish an outstanding record of contributions to our community totaling more than $500,000.

The Greater Muskegon Service League is currently accepting grant requests from
501(c)3 organizations who are affiliated with supporting the needs of women and
children in Muskegon County. Requests and inquiries should be submitted to
The Greater Muskegon Service League ,c/o 1478 Leahy Street, Muskegon, MI 49442 by July 31,2009. A grant application may be downloaded by clicking here.
